New York City Anti-Violence Project
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive needs assessment services to a government authority in New York. This project aims to gather critical insights into the experiences of individuals who access support services such as a 24-hour crisis hotline, counseling, legal aid, and community outreach. The assessment will create a deeper understanding of the challenges affecting individuals and communities citywide, including areas such as economic security and employment, safety and harm reduction, access to supportive services, housing, healthcare, and economic resources.
The vendor will evaluate the availability of these services and identify barriers that people may face when seeking support. The assessment process will involve collecting data through various methodologies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and listening sessions to ensure the representation of diverse community perspectives. The vendor is responsible for monitoring participation, adjusting outreach strategies as needed, and developing and implementing an effective research methodology. Finally, outcomes will be disseminated in a public report to inform future policy and decision-making.
