DESCRIPTION


This RFP seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive, community-wide marketing and place strategy services to support economic development, tourism, downtown revitalization, and investment attraction under a unified and authentic brand. The initiative aims to reflect the community’s historic significance, natural assets, entrepreneurial spirit, and overall quality of life through its strategic efforts.

The selected firm will be responsible for reviewing existing plans, studies, and marketing materials, conducting market and peer community analyses, and assessing demographic and economic trends. Stakeholder engagement with residents, businesses, tourism partners, and institutions is required, as well as an analysis of both internal and external brand perception.

Additional tasks include developing or refining a unified community brand, creating key messaging frameworks for diverse audiences, providing visual identity guidance (including logo usage, typography, color palettes, and imagery), and developing brand architecture for tourism, downtown, and investment marketing. The vendor will also deliver an integrated marketing strategy across digital, print, and experiential channels; offer website, social media, and content strategy recommendations; propose approaches for media relations and storytelling; and formulate event, placemaking, and seasonal campaign concepts.
