The selected vendor will provide comprehensive billing, reimbursement, collection, and administrative services for emergency medical services (EMS) that deliver advanced life support to the community and surrounding areas. The goal is to identify and implement efficiencies in billing, clinical care, and operational management, utilizing national best practices to enhance the quality and effectiveness of EMS delivery.
Services include EMS billing, collection and reporting, consulting on billing and collections, patient satisfaction data collection and reporting, as well as cardiac arrest data collection, management, and reporting. Additional requirements consist of providing hosted electronic patient care reporting (ePCR), situational awareness and early event notification via FirstWatch, and robust EMS billing, collections, and reimbursement reporting services.
Vendors must support improving clinical sophistication, efficiency, and public care outcomes through the application of industry standards, technology, and data-driven management practices.
