The government authority located in Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive implementation and management services for an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) program. The scope includes full-service maintenance of AED batteries and parts, as well as monitoring inventory expiration and managing replacements as needed. The contract will allow for expansion to cover up to 2,000 AED units at the same unit pricing and service terms, with any further units to be purchased in bulk increments of 500 under those same conditions.
Required services include conducting site assessments for optimal AED placement, developing deployment plans tailored to each location, monitoring and replacing batteries, tracking and replacing electrode pads based on expiration, installing manufacturer software and firmware updates, and performing monthly readiness checks with documentation. The vendor must also ensure proper environmental storage conditions and maintain an adequate inventory of replacement parts and supplies throughout the contract period.
All questions related to this RFP must be submitted no later than March 20, 2026. A pre-bid meeting was held on March 18, 2026.
