The county is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive asset lifecycle management (ALM) services for its physical security systems, including Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Video Management Systems (VMS), and fire alarm monitoring software integration. The selected provider will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, installation, and engineering design services related to these critical systems.
The ALM approach focuses on ensuring that security assets are properly maintained, upgraded, and retired throughout their operational lifespan. Services will include structured functional testing of all system components, such as sensors, controllers, cameras, servers, and user interfaces, as well as physical and environmental testing to verify equipment integrity and secure installation. The vendor will also perform configuration and compliance reviews to ensure alignment with county security standards and manufacturer recommendations. Preventive and routine maintenance will be conducted regularly to ensure systems remain fully operational and compliant with required specifications.
