The government authority in Bremerton, Washington is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive accessibility consulting services for the city library. The selected consultant will conduct a thorough assessment of all library facilities and digital platforms to identify barriers to physical, sensory, cognitive, and digital access. This includes evaluating interior and exterior signage, navigational aids for individuals with disabilities, physical access to resources, visual stimuli, color contrasts, and spatial layouts.
The engagement aims to deliver clear, prioritized, and practical recommendations that support universal accessibility and foster inclusive, usable environments for all library patrons. Consultants will be expected to provide phased and cost-conscious solutions that align with long-term planning for capital improvements, operational changes, and digital enhancements.
