A government authority in New Hanover, North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive design services for repurposing the existing Museum of History and Science. The project involves transforming the building from a primarily public-facing facility into a site focused on collections and internal operations.
Services requested include conducting a space needs assessment, preparing a concept plan, developing budget estimates for each component, and producing an estimated project timeline. The scope also covers full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, interior design, signage, site work, utilities, construction administration, and assistance with permitting with relevant agencies and utility providers.
The anticipated project delivery method is Construction Manager at Risk.
