The State of California is seeking a qualified vendor to develop a Complete Communities Framework and Toolkit System that integrates land use and transportation planning. The selected consultant will be responsible for providing research-driven information that demonstrates the benefits of this integration, offering comprehensive messaging for each strategy, as well as toolkit-wide messaging and case studies that include key proof points.
Deliverables will include a toolkit accessible in multiple formats such as downloadable PDFs, web-friendly versions, and linked resources like funding tables and case studies. The contractor will also be expected to provide toolkit layout and design mock-ups, design templates for ongoing use, and guidance for platform selection (PDF, web, Excel, etc.).
The scope of services involves conducting a comprehensive review of best practices, developing a complete communities framework, and producing the toolkit itself. Close collaboration with the project manager and relevant staff is required to ensure effective project management and implementation. The contract duration is one year.
