DESCRIPTION

The City is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive community-wide wayfinding design services. The selected firm will collect and review existing resources, including past wayfinding plans, utility maps (location, depth, and size), digital mapping, GIS-based information, parcel easements, right-of-way plats, and input from city staff.

The vendor will obtain necessary access from property owners to conduct engineering studies and perform detailed field surveys to accurately document locations, elevations, configurations, and sizes of existing features throughout the project area. These surveys are required to develop thorough construction plans.

Additional responsibilities include evaluating and verifying details of existing facilities, structures, and utilities, as well as performing the structural and electrical engineering design for monument and pole-mounted signs to ensure practical and safe installation. Vendor must also conduct stakeholder meetings as needed to gather feedback and distribute relevant project information.
