The selected provider will deliver community website and digital content support, as well as related training services, assisting a network of 56 community groups in Ireland. The scope encompasses supporting both current and future members with the development and maintenance of their WordPress community archives. This includes onboarding and training new groups as they join the network.
The vendor will offer training in the use of digital tools and media, monitor website performance across the network, log support incidents, and engage with community volunteers on an ongoing basis. A major responsibility involves conducting online training in the iCAN WordPress content management system for both new and existing participants.
Additional duties include developing learning resources to empower community members to independently manage their websites, curate online heritage content, and ensure engaging online presentations. The provider will also collaborate with the Network Administrator to supply prompt online technical support, as well as monitor and record website functionality, performance, and community engagements. The contract term is one year.
