Community Outreach and Engagement for No Parking Street Sweeping Signage Program On-Call Support Service

The City of California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive community outreach and engagement services in support of a citywide no parking street sweeping signage program. This program is a crucial measure to prevent pollutants from entering the storm drain system, thereby protecting water quality through effective street sweeping operations.

The selected vendor will develop and implement a robust marketing campaign to promote the no parking street sweeping signage initiative. Responsibilities include creating messaging-consistent outreach materials suitable for the city’s website and social media platforms, emphasizing the environmental benefits of the program. Additionally, the vendor will assist in preparing and delivering presentations for Commissions, City Council sessions, and community engagement meetings, both in-person and virtually. Outreach materials and communications must be bilingual (English and Spanish) to ensure accessibility for the diverse community.

Further duties involve coordinating with city staff and community organizations, designing a community engagement strategy, conducting direct outreach in high-priority areas, collecting engagement data, and formulating actionable recommendations for program implementation. Tabling at city events and ensuring all messaging aligns with the City's Communication, Outreach, & Engagement Strategy are also required.
