Must be in good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments & Taxation
Must provide current certificate(s) of insurance within five business days of notice of recommended award
Must designate a project director and a point person for bi-weekly meetings with the Maryland Department of Health

DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide community engagement services in Maryland, including outreach to faith-based organizations and the broader community. Responsibilities involve organizing and hosting at least seven high-impact community engagement activities to share information, dispel myths about advance directives, and promote awareness of digital options for advance directives.

The contractor will adapt educational modules for use in community conversations, develop event scripts tailored to lay participants using key messages about advance directives, and actively participate in events to engage individuals and families. Additionally, the vendor will analyze demographic data and assess knowledge and intent before and after community conversations and outreach events. Efforts will focus on organizing events that directly engage rural residents and various community groups about advance care planning and advance directives.
