Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected vendor will provide comprehensive community engagement, facilitation, and grant writing support in Marin County, California. Responsibilities include conducting in-person outreach and engagement at community events, workshops, information sessions, and pop-up opportunities as needed. The provider will collaborate with community-based organizations, neighborhood groups, and trusted local messengers to broaden outreach and encourage participation.
Additionally, the vendor will develop and distribute culturally responsive and accessible content and toolkits, ensuring multilingual outreach materials are produced as appropriate. Management of subcontractors will be necessary to support outreach activities, event staffing, facilitation, and language access. The contractor will also be responsible for documenting and summarizing engagement activities to effectively capture the scope and impact of community involvement in the Participatory Budgeting process.
Strategic project support will be required, including offering early guidance during proposal development to help applicants meet program guidelines and evaluation criteria. The vendor should be prepared to develop meeting agendas, facilitation materials, and documentation of meetings, decisions, and outcomes, as well as translating complex or technical information into accessible formats for community audiences.
