Community Engagement Consultant Services

A government authority in California is seeking a consultant to provide comprehensive community engagement services. The selected consultant will develop a detailed Community Engagement Plan, building upon a previous Trust-Building Campaign. Responsibilities include identifying key target populations and geographic focus areas, as well as cultivating and maintaining relationships with cultural and faith-based leaders, seniors, youth organizations, and advocacy groups.

The consultant will plan and execute events such as pop-ups, roundtables, listening sessions, and workshops in culturally relevant venues. Coordination with community partners to co-host or participate in existing events is required. The creation of outreach materials in multiple languages—including Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Mandarin, Farsi, Arabic, and others as needed—is expected. Storytelling assets such as videos, social media content, and testimonials will be produced to highlight community experiences, ensuring that all messaging aligns with the community's values and lived experiences.

A comprehensive digital media strategy must also be implemented, featuring multilingual content calendars, influencer campaigns, and digital engagement tools. Key team roles for the project include a Community Outreach Lead, Community Outreach Support staff, a Media and Digital Strategist, and a Data and Evaluation Analyst, who will track engagement metrics and support ongoing improvements to community outreach initiatives.
