The agency seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive community engagement and communications services to support flood resilience and climate adaptation initiatives. Key responsibilities include community outreach, stakeholder engagement, multi-jurisdictional facilitation, governance support, and the development of general branding and communications strategies.
The selected firm will lead inclusive, accessible, and equity-centered engagement activities focused on shoreline adaptation and climate risk reduction. The contractor must increase public awareness of flood risks, climate impacts, and adaptation strategies through tailored communications, meaningfully integrate community perspectives into all phases of planning and implementation, and foster collaboration among jurisdictions and stakeholders involved in resilience efforts. In addition, the vendor will communicate project milestones, funding impacts, and program outcomes with effective branding, storytelling, and media outreach. The contract will have a one-year term.
