A government authority in Michigan is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for a new community center project. The facility is planned as a 60,000 square foot building with an estimated construction cost of $35 million, inclusive of contingency.
The project will encompass a variety of spaces and amenities, including recreation offices, a gymnasium, locker rooms, a fitness center, a natatorium potentially equipped with a slide and play equipment, meeting rooms, birthday or party rooms, a prep kitchen, and integrated audio/visual components. Outdoor features will include fields and courts, along with associated civil site work.
In addition to architectural and engineering design, the selected vendor will collaborate throughout the project, assisting in cost development and the final contractor selection process. Interested firms are encouraged to review project requirements and timetable for questions, with all inquiries due by December 17, 2025.
