DESCRIPTION


This opportunity is seeking a vendor to deliver comprehensive community-based waste prevention education, outreach, and marketing program services to residents, visitors, and businesses. The scope encompasses community outreach and resource development with a focus on waste prevention, reuse, repair, composting, and recycling.

Key deliverables include the development of an annual Waste Prevention Marketing and Outreach Plan to identify target audiences, define key waste prevention behaviors, set campaign goals, establish outreach methods and performance metrics, and coordinate messaging across various platforms. Vendors will also be responsible for executing paid and earned advertising campaigns using web, print, social media, radio, and other approved channels, with media placements and creative content tailored to the campaign’s audience and objectives, as well as quarterly advertisement refreshes.

Additional tasks involve creating and promoting monthly social media and blog content to highlight practical waste reduction actions and local environmental initiatives; drafting press releases and event promotions; developing a monthly newsletter; and maintaining accurate, up-to-date website content. All vendor questions must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
