State Of Maine Department Of Corrections Division Of Juvenile Services
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority located in Augusta, Maine seeks a qualified vendor to provide community-based mentoring services for justice-involved youth across the state. The services must include peer and near-peer mentoring, mentoring from adults with lived experience, and advocacy mentoring.
Vendors must document that their service is based on evidence-based programs, practices, or is considered a promising practice. The selected provider will be responsible for administering department-approved surveys to youth upon completion of the program, and must collect data on participant demographics, the number of successful completions, training activities, funding sources, performance measures, and overall program outcomes.
Additionally, the vendor must conduct background checks on all staff and individuals involved in service delivery, including employees, contractors, consultants, volunteers, and students. Ensuring confidentiality, along with secure data storage and transmission, is required throughout the engagement.
