Alameda County Social Services Agency
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected vendor will conduct a community-based child abuse prevention awareness campaign, focused on increasing public knowledge of strategies and resources to prevent child abuse and neglect. The campaign aims to educate residents about how families can access concrete support, achieve economic stability, obtain quality education and healthcare, create and maintain safe living environments, and foster positive connections within their communities.
Outcome efforts must incorporate multimedia approaches—including print media and social media—ongoing website maintenance, and providing relevant content for the website. The vendor will support the development, expansion, and coordination of initiatives that prevent child abuse, and help strengthen and support families to reduce the risk of abuse and neglect. Information, resources, referrals, and access to services should be provided to the broader community to enhance awareness and prevention.
The campaign will promote community inclusion, educate members about child abuse prevention, address social determinants of health and well-being, and provide linkages for parents seeking early comprehensive support services. Priority activities include developing awareness campaigns, organizing prevention fairs, tabling at community events, expanding online and social media presence, hosting community forums and events, and increasing advertising of supports and services available to families. The contract period will be for three years.
