This RFP seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive services for the design, production, and distribution of a community activities guide. The selected firm will be responsible for the full-service planning, development, and advertising of the publication, targeting a broad range of residents and stakeholders. Content management will include organizing engaging material, featuring highlighted events, seasonal themes, community spotlights, and editorial storytelling tailored to reflect the character and vibrancy of the community.
The guide may be produced in print, digital, or hybrid formats, all optimized for accessibility and user experience. The vendor will also develop and implement an advertising sales strategy focused on local businesses, organizations, and event promoters, with flexible advertising packages and pricing structures to encourage wide participation. Distribution plans must maximize visibility and access within the community.
Additional requirements include providing tools or systems enabling community partners to easily submit and update information, and strategies to boost participation from local organizations, nonprofits, and businesses. The vendor must follow a clear production schedule to ensure the timely delivery of each issue during the one-year contract period.
