The government authority in California seeks a contractor to provide community action plan services aimed at enhancing mobility and air quality programs. The selected vendor will be responsible for technical analysis, data collection, outreach, and the preparation of comprehensive reports.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with the Food Literacy Center and the city to develop a community engagement work plan, facilitating meetings and workshops for goal setting, and producing a final engagement plan for approval through a consensus-driven governance model. The vendor will co-present strategy and plan preview workshops with the Food Literacy Center to engage the community advisory committee and broader community for input and refinement.
Final deliverables include the creation of a food literacy urban farm strategic/action plan that features community-led solutions and recommendations to overcome barriers related to space activation and connection with transportation and mobility improvements. The anticipated contract period is one year.
