Anaconda-Deer Lodge County
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Anaconda, Montana is seeking a qualified vendor to conduct a comprehensive audit of its external radio communication system. This initiative includes a technical audit and gap analysis to ensure interoperability, coverage reliability, and compliance with relevant regulations for field operations.
The scope of work involves independent verification of radio signal strength and identification of dead zones throughout the primary operating area. The vendor will inspect base stations, repeaters, antenna systems, and tower sites for both physical and functional integrity. In addition, there will be an audit comparing current radio licenses with actual usage to prevent interference and confirm regulatory alignment.
The assessment also covers the system’s capability to communicate with partner agencies such as mutual aid organizations, local law enforcement, and municipal services. Evaluation of the condition and age of both vehicle-mounted and handheld radio units is also required.
