The agency is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive communications support services. Responsibilities include facilitating public media and community relations through the identification of media production partners, submission of approved storylines, and dissemination of public service announcements across multiple channels including print, TV, radio, online media, social media, exhibits, community events, press releases, website management, and speech writing. The vendor will assist with developing messages, speeches, opinion pieces, and video scripts to build public trust, and will deliver media training and interview preparation for leadership.
In addition to media relations, the vendor will play a key role in community outreach by identifying and pitching story ideas highlighting agency efforts and partnerships, developing outreach messaging, and ensuring the consistency of all public messaging and materials. The responsibilities also include communications management with real-time guidance during sensitive incidents, drafting crisis communications, press statements, FAQs, and supporting internal communications as requested.
Furthermore, the vendor must integrate culturally informed branding, which includes native language translation and interpretative public relations services. All activities should aim to foster community cohesiveness, public trust, and proper representation of the agency's mission through effective communications and outreach.
