Communications and Media Outreach Specialist Service

An organization in Missouri is seeking a communications and media outreach specialist to enhance its brand image and drive strategic media engagement. The specialist will be responsible for developing communications initiatives that differentiate the organization's sales brand, focusing on targeted end-user marketing channels and creating impactful campaigns.

Key responsibilities include crafting region-specific communications plans aligned with global and regional strategies, and ensuring that messaging reflects the organization's commitment to sustainability, reliability, nutrition, and performance. The role also involves maintaining a categorized database of media contacts, including newspapers, trade magazines, online outlets, journalists, and digital platforms.

The specialist will support the drafting of press releases, op-eds, media pitches, interview material, backgrounders, and feature articles, in collaboration with the Regional Communications lead. Additional duties include pitching stories and thought leadership content, securing media opportunities, building media relationships, and supporting communications and speaker coordination at conferences and events.
