The government authority in Unalaska, Alaska seeks qualified vendors to provide communication infrastructure project services, specifically involving the installation of fiber optic cabling throughout various city facilities. The scope of work includes the deployment of fiber optic cabling both within and between city facilities, utilizing approximately 66,000 feet of existing underground conduit and around 60 vaults.
The backbone routes will be constructed using the Blown Fiber method to effectively bridge the distances between vaults and facilities. The fiber optic network will include cabling counts ranging from 12F up to 288F. Vendors should have proven experience with large-scale fiber installation projects and be familiar with the Blown Fiber method.
