Communication, Branding and Media-Related Services

The State of California is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver comprehensive communication, branding, and media-related services. The contractor will be responsible for supporting strategic messaging, branding initiatives, and public engagement efforts across a range of platforms to ensure the delivery of effective and high-quality communications.

Key responsibilities include managing social media channels through content planning, posting, monitoring, and executing response strategies. The vendor will develop and optimize web and social media strategies, utilizing analytics, SEO/SEM, and performance metrics to gauge effectiveness. Services also encompass writing and editorial work, the creation of thought leadership and marketing content, photography for events and campaigns, as well as the management and digital distribution of communications and marketing materials.

Additional requirements include the delivery of campaign assets on multiple platforms, graphic design for digital, print, and out-of-home applications, production of advertising across various media, and development or refinement of brand assets such as logos. The selected contractor will also conduct research, surveys, and audience analyses to inform communication planning, and provide strategic counsel on messaging, positioning, and overall brand alignment. The contract for these services will be for a period of three years.
