Horry County Department of Airports
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
A South Carolina airport is seeking a vendor to provide replacement services for its common-use passenger processing system. The new system must be modern and standards-based, featuring integrated Resource Management System (RMS) functionality for managing gates, stands, counters, and carousels. It should support multi-airline operations, facilitate contemporary passenger workflows, and offer secure application access for airlines to share ticket counters, podiums, and departure lounge resources.
The scope includes providing real-time flight data aggregation, with accurate validation and ingestion, and integration capabilities for the airport’s paging and public address systems. The system is expected to include a centralized repository for flight and resource allocation data, real-time integration with third-party systems such as FIDS, BIDS, and future ERP platforms, as well as data warehousing and comprehensive reporting capabilities.
Additional requirements involve notification and approval workflows for system updates, detailed records of all interfaces and data exchanges, and robust event management functionality including system log collection, event correlation, automated fault notifications, and real-time alerts for errors or service interruptions. Administrative tools must be available via a secure web interface to monitor system health, view logs, and access fault histories. The contract for these services will span three years.
