SUMMARY

Replacement and support of common use passenger processing and self-service systems, including CMS/digital displays, for a California airport.

DESCRIPTION

A California airport is seeking a qualified contractor to provide replacement and ongoing support services for its common use passenger processing (CUPPS) and common use self-service (CUSS) systems, as well as associated digital display and content management solutions. The project will involve the careful disposal of existing CUPPS and CUSS hardware—including components, equipment, kiosks, mounts, trays, software, workstations, scanners, and printers—and the phased installation of new, compatible systems.

The upgraded CUPPS solutions must enable multiple airlines, ground handlers, and staff to share check-in and gate podium positions using their respective host software, all on a standardized and interoperable set of hardware with no need for additional configuration or modification. Similarly, the new CUSS kiosks will allow any passenger to check in with any airline at any kiosk, further simplifying and streamlining the check-in process at the airport.

In addition, the contractor will be responsible for replacing the current content management system (CMS) and deploying new digital displays throughout the airport campus. The new CMS must be feature-rich, flexible, and easily supported, offering robust capabilities for delivering gate, flight, and baggage information; airline-specific content such as boarding or upgrade lists; and code-compliant visual paging for operational and emergency notifications. The solution must be scalable and capable of meeting the evolving information needs of airlines, airport staff, and passengers well into the future.
