A government authority in California is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive commissioning consulting services for building systems associated with government projects. The scope of services encompasses collaboration with design service firms to establish and document the owner's project requirements, including the basis of design, conducting thorough design reviews, and preparing commissioning specifications within construction documents.
The consultant will be responsible for developing both district-wide and site-specific commissioning plans, adhering to the respective project design schedules. Additional responsibilities include reviewing construction submittals for systems requiring commissioning in conjunction with the design team and design-builder, as well as implementing the approved commissioning plan in alignment with the construction schedule. The selected vendor will also verify installations in accordance with contract requirements, perform functional performance testing on commissioned systems, provide operations and maintenance training, and prepare comprehensive commissioning reports.
