SUMMARY

Missouri seeks a vendor for a commercial vehicle management system including software, hardware, integration, and ongoing support.

DESCRIPTION

The City of Missouri is seeking a qualified vendor to implement a comprehensive commercial vehicle management system. This project encompasses the provision of AVI software to manage, report, bill, and monitor the automated vehicle identification (AVI) system. The scope includes installation and configuration of the management software within the City’s specified environment, with a preference for cloud-based (SaaS) solutions, though virtualization on servers is required if cloud deployment is not feasible.

Key requirements include seamless integration with third-party systems such as financial modules, RFID readers, License Plate Recognition (LPR) systems, geofencing, and other advanced tracking technologies. The solution must support setting user roles, permissions, and custom reporting to align with the City’s operational requirements and allow the City to be added as a new tenant on hosted systems, including interfacing with designated transportation network companies.

Vendors will also be responsible for supplying and installing RF antennas for AVI transponder tracking, encompassing all necessary infrastructure to meet City IT standards, as well as a minimum of two interface modules for taxi queuing display boards and the installation of flat screen monitors. The selected provider will support a smooth system deployment, actively monitor system performance during rollout, address operational issues, and offer ongoing maintenance and support after implementation.
