The government authority in North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide combo snack and beverage vending machine services. The machines must offer a variety of cold carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, with the specific mixture adaptable per location and subject to change throughout the year to accommodate customer preferences and sales volume.
Cold beverage selections must include at least two diet soda options, with one being a caffeine-free, non-cola soda. Additional required drink selections include functional beverages such as flavored sports and energy drinks, as well as water-based drinks like vitamin waters, flavored waters, and diluted juices. Under no circumstances are alcoholic or intoxicating beverages to be sold, dispensed, or made available at any college location.
Snack options should encompass general items such as candy, chips, and crackers, in addition to healthy alternatives like baked chips, granola bars, seeds, nuts, nutrition bars, craft popcorn, and trail mixes. Products that can be stored at room temperature, such as canned fruit, meat snacks, and chips with dips, may also be included. The initial contract will cover a term of three years.
