Douglas County School District Re-1
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
A school district in Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive College and Career Readiness (CCR) platform, serving as a central hub for student exploration, academic planning, and postsecondary transition. The platform must align with the district’s strategic plan by advancing equity, accessibility, and high levels of student engagement through features such as gamification and self-guided exploration. The CCR solution should support a long-term developmental approach, beginning as early as Kindergarten (or PK-5), integrating age-appropriate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Practical Life Skills to foster positive academic outcomes, and extending to post-graduation with alumni tracking and networking portals.
The ideal platform will enable tracking of resumes, industry certifications, postsecondary coursework, volunteer activities, and work-based learning experiences, all of which must be fully editable, printable, and easily transferable in electronic formats for students’ permanent access. It should include robust data-driven search tools to match students with appropriate college programs, majors, and career training, as well as functionalities to assist staff in meeting Indicator 13 transition requirements with corresponding reporting features. Full implementation of Advanced Learning Plan (ALP) components is required.
Additional requirements include modern, continuously updated career exploration tools—such as Holland Codes and top-skills inventories—a comprehensive, sequenced lesson plan library, and dashboards synthesizing key performance indicators including academic performance, attendance, behavioral incidents, engagement with career exploration, attainment of significant benchmarks, and progress in college application and financial aid. The platform should offer alert systems for students at risk of not meeting graduation requirements and allow users to filter data by key demographics or student groups.
