DESCRIPTION

The county government in Greensboro, North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide collective action evaluation partner services. The objective is to build collaborative solutions that address and reduce long-standing racial disparities in maternal and infant health. This initiative requires working closely with community members, caregivers, birth workers, healthcare systems, civic and government leaders, faith–based organizations, and local officials. The focus is on centering the voices and needs of people, parents, children, and families within the community.

Key goals include increasing the number of pregnant persons who receive prenatal care before the second trimester, reducing preterm births and low birthweight to improve the incidence of healthy births, and decreasing infant mortality to ensure more Guilford County babies reach their first birthday. The selected partner will be instrumental in designing and evaluating collaborative strategies and interventions that engage a diverse group of stakeholders and support sustainable, community-driven change.
