DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Wisconsin is seeking a vendor to provide cognitive-behavioral domestic violence program services. The selected provider will be responsible for offering evidence-based interventions such as Thinking For a Change Domestic Violence Customization (T4C–DV), Moral Resonation Therapy Domestic Violence (MRT–DV), and Cognitive–Behavioral Interventions for Interpersonal Violence (CBI–IPV).

Services should include teaching clients cognitive skills and promoting cognitive restructuring through both individual and group counseling sessions. The program must be designed to be victim-sensitive and prioritize community safety by aiming to protect victims and reduce future incidents of violence. Key objectives include helping clients responsibly manage their attitudes, thoughts, and emotions, fostering accountability, and supporting community protection.

The overarching goal is to reduce crime and recidivism rates by addressing dynamic criminogenic risk factors, encouraging pro-social skill development, and implementing cognitive-behavioral strategies to drive long-term behavioral change.
