DESCRIPTION
The agency seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive coding and revenue cycle management services. Key responsibilities include professional coding, claims submission for professional services within four business days of receiving complete clinical information, ongoing education for providers based on documentation quality assessments, and detailed reporting and analytics for all revenue cycle KPIs on a monthly basis and upon special request.
Additional tasks encompass following up on insurance accounts receivables, managing claim denials, handling patient inquiries about account balances and insurance, and identifying uncollectable accounts for timely transfer to collections. Vendors must describe all KPIs used for the service, their measurement methods, and outline viable options for business continuity and disaster recovery. The contract term will be one year, and a data interface for patient statement delivery is required.
