DESCRIPTION

The organization is seeking vendors to deliver cloud infrastructure architect services with demonstrated expertise in designing cloud strategies that encompass networks, infrastructure, storage, high-availability systems, comprehensive backup solutions, deployment environments, and operational processes. The selected firm will optimize cloud infrastructure services, establish standards for automation, and implement tools to automate day-to-day IT operations within Infrastructure & Operations.

Key responsibilities include ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure systems. This covers the management of physical and virtual servers, storage platforms, operating systems, and cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, along with other supporting workloads. The architect will develop end-to-end cloud solutions by creating detailed blueprints for networks, servers, storage, security frameworks, IAM roles and policies, network segmentation, encryption, and deployment environments aligned with business objectives.

The service provider will design hybrid environments that integrate on-premises and multiple public cloud providers to optimize resource allocation. Additional duties involve supporting, maintaining, and administering enterprise physical and virtual server environments, as well as installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting both Microsoft Windows Server and Linux operating systems. The role also includes provisioning, configuration, maintenance, upgrade, and support for cloud infrastructure resources in AWS and Azure, supporting workloads like AWS EC2, EBS, VPC components, IAM, and Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, and storage services.
