The Institute of Education Sciences (IES) is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive support for its web operations, including cloud hosting, system administration, website administration, development of critical features, and user, staff, and developer support. IES operates a virtual data center currently hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) to facilitate its mission.
The data center is responsible for hosting survey collection and dissemination sites, web servers, database servers, data-driven web applications, as well as a system management and web development environment. Additionally, it supports terminal servers that house analytical and statistical software, and other supporting servers vital to these operations. The selected vendor will maintain and enhance these systems while ensuring reliability, security, and optimal performance.
