DESCRIPTION
The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-hosted Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) solution or a similarly modernized on-premises VoIP system to replace and upgrade its existing Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) infrastructure. The current system comprises two physical Dell PowerEdge servers supporting six virtual Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) servers, two virtual cisco unity connection servers for voicemail, and two virtual cisco emergency responder servers. The telephony environment utilizes nine PRI circuits and supports approximately 4,001 active handsets.
Key requirements include the complete migration of all public schools-owned Direct Inward Dial (DID) numbers, voicemails, and all existing configurations to the new telecommunications platform. The selected vendor will be responsible for the provisioning of end-user licenses for all applicable users. The contract will be awarded for a five-year period, with all related questions to be submitted by April 7, 2026.
