DESCRIPTION

This RFP seeks a qualified system integrator to design, implement, and support a new cloud-hosted Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) solution. The project will utilize cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure to handle substantial data volumes—specifically, a production environment of 18TB, development of 15TB, and test of 7TB—with over 480 concurrent connections. The solution must support more than 1,000 interfaces and protocols, including JDBC, ODBC, .NET, REST, and SOAP, and be fully compatible with tools like IBM Infosphere, SAP BO, Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports, and OpenText BI Query.

The vendor will be responsible for architectural design and technology selection, integrating data from various sources, and transitioning current ETL, reporting, and application interfaces. Current EDW operations involve ETL frameworks, custom scripts, and tools such as Teradata Utilities, IBM DataStage, and WhereScape, managing a workload of 126,000 load jobs per month, 20TB staged data, and 113 trillion rows. The scope includes secure migration, comprehensive testing, user training, and full project documentation, as well as ongoing post-deployment support and maintenance. Model Cards should be provided to detail training data and intended use of the system.
