DESCRIPTION

A college in South Carolina is seeking a vendor to deliver a comprehensive cloud-hosted bookstore management solution to oversee the daily operations of its campus bookstore. The selected provider will be responsible for managing both the Shop Bookstore's physical retail location and associated services through a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.

The solution must support the sale of new and used textbooks, textbook rentals, electronic and digital books, reference and trade books, stationery, student supplies, apparel, spirit merchandise, fraternity and sorority items, and a variety of other non-consumable goods typical of a college bookstore. Additionally, the vendor will provide special book orders, distance learning course materials, used textbook buyback, copyright clearance, and course packs, as well as limited consumable items such as snacks and beverages.

Vendors should outline all components provided by third-party partners, including OEM software and hosting solutions, and must include robust business continuity and disaster recovery practices. The proposal should detail browser requirements necessary for full system functionality. The contract for these services will span three years.
