Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
An agency in Florida is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based web content filtering system. The system is intended to monitor and control the content that users can access on the internet both while connected to the district’s network and when using district-managed devices. The main objective is to ensure users access only safe and appropriate content, thereby enhancing security, productivity, and compliance with district policies.
The required solution must integrate seamlessly with the agency’s existing network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and identity management systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, and Google Workspace. The system should be fully self-contained—without dependencies on the agency’s current hardware or software licenses—and must prevent unmanaged devices from bypassing the filter as effectively as managed devices. Differentiated filtering options should be available for groups including grade levels PreK–12, adult students, guests, and employees, with support for further subcategorization within these custom groups. Additionally, the system must send audit logs to an external Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution and provide comprehensive, hands-on training for district IT staff and end-user support teams on management, configuration, troubleshooting, and reporting.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 19, 2026. The contract period will be two years. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 19, 2026.
