The City in Illinois is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a cloud-based utility billing software solution to support its sewer utilities. This software will replace the current system and must offer seamless integration with the City's existing mapping software (ArcGIS), the County Auditor's general ledger (Prospero), and customer payment options.
The selected solution should include robust software security services, PCI-DSS compliance, and reliable data backup capabilities. Additionally, the system needs to support comprehensive utility billing functionalities, facilitate miscellaneous revenue receipts, and allow for both installation and data migration from the existing platform. Vendors are expected to provide integration with online payment solutions or present an equivalent alternative along with a detailed implementation plan.
The project further requires staff training on the new software and an annual maintenance contract to ensure ongoing system performance, correct any deficiencies, and provide operational assistance as needed. Technical support must be available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time.
