The selected vendor will deliver a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) transportation system designed to enhance operational efficiency and improve coordination of transportation services in North Carolina. The solution must feature a user-friendly interface, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and facilitate seamless integration with Department of Social Services (DSS) and other State systems. An API must be provided to support interoperability and data exchange.
The software will streamline trip scheduling, dispatching, and billing processes while supporting robust reporting and data analytics. Additional requirements include integrated digital platforms for scheduling and routing, improved data sharing between healthcare providers, payers, and transportation vendors, and maintenance of proper documentation and audit trails for every trip. The system must offer transparency to patients and caregivers with real-time updates and notifications, cost-effective implementation, detailed user roles and permissions, Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs), separate test and production environments, and support all required reporting needs.
All vendors must submit their questions by March 20, 2026.
