The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based unified communications phone system, utilizing the RingCentral platform. The successful provider will be responsible for supplying compatible IP desk phones, softphone capabilities, and mobile applications to ensure seamless communication among all district sites.
Services required include a thorough evaluation of the existing network infrastructure to determine VOIP readiness, focusing on bandwidth, quality of service (QoS), VLANs, and related factors. The selected vendor will implement and configure emergency (e911) services in accordance with applicable regulations and set up the RingCentral platform, including provisioning user accounts, extensions, and permissions.
This initiative aims to fully replace the district’s current telephony infrastructure, delivering a reliable, scalable, and secure voice communication solution. The vendor will also be asked to integrate the new platform with current district network infrastructure and systems, enhance both internal and external communications, and provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting. Service level agreements (SLAs) outlining response and resolution times must also be included.
