Texas is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based syllabus management platform to support academic programs across its institutions. The ideal solution will enable the creation, revision, auditing, and discovery of syllabi, providing an intuitive editing interface for faculty and staff to update course syllabus information, monitor progress, and efficiently archive syllabi. The platform will facilitate easy communication with students by sending email notifications regarding syllabus updates.
Key features should include a structured approach to organizing syllabi into standard categories to enable robust, customizable reporting. These reporting tools must support institution-wide and granular analyses, offering data export, filtering by course, department, or user group, and dashboard summaries of access and version histories. Integration with existing systems, utilizing standards such as single sign-on (SSO), and automated data flow from SIS and catalog sources are required to ensure data accuracy and minimize manual work.
Additional services should encompass consulting, training, data administration, and development to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. The contract for this platform will be for a duration of two years.
