This enterprise-wide solution should support recreation program management, facility reservations, customer registration, retail sales, and financial reporting within a unified platform, serving multiple facilities and handling high volumes of simultaneous transactions, both in-person and online, without performance degradation.

Key requirements include support for program and activity registrations, membership management, facility rentals and reservations, retail sales, and admissions. The system must provide robust payment processing capabilities, capturing customer information at every point of service, recording visit history and usage statistics, and generating comprehensive management reports. Secure data storage and retrieval are essential, enabling management personnel to access usage statistics and operational data for informed decision-making.

Additional features must allow staff to design and manage programs—such as classes, camps, and events—with detailed descriptions, schedules, flexible pricing, and real-time roster tracking. The solution should include a centralized scheduling system for reservable spaces, ensuring real-time conflict detection to prevent double-booking and supporting online customer reservation submissions. A fully integrated POS module must process retail sales, activity registrations, rentals, and support modern POS hardware, inventory tracking, and efficient multi-user, multi-location use.
