The client is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive cloud-based parking and revenue control system for their parking garage facilities in Florida. The proposed system must enable real-time centralized data processing for all parking garages, with a central monitoring station to oversee intercoms, cameras at all entry and exit lanes, and access control for garage equipment.
The system is required to support the effective management of parking garage operations through centralized monitoring of all field devices, including entry stations, barrier gates, cashier stations, lane display statuses, and UPS units. It must provide robust access control, allowing remote changes to rates, fee tables, and management of permit holder accounts from a single location. Authorized users should be able to issue remote commands, such as raising or lowering barrier gates, rebooting stations, adjusting lane status signs, and deploying software patches and updates from central workstations.
Scalability is essential, with the system able to accommodate the integration of additional parking facilities and lanes as needed for future expansion. The solution should also deliver extensive audit trails for all user account activities and support real-time rate adjustments based on facility, time, day of week, and special events. The contract will span five years, with a mandatory pre-bid meeting scheduled and a specific deadline for submitting questions ahead of the bid deadline.
