SUMMARY

California seeks a cloud-based system for paratransit scheduling, dispatching, and reporting with real-time tracking and multi-channel trip booking.

DESCRIPTION

California is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based system for paratransit scheduling, dispatching, and reporting. The solution should deliver a streamlined trip-booking experience with support for web, IVR, text, email, and mobile application interfaces, accommodating both same-day and future reservations. Passengers must be able to reserve, cancel, reschedule, or confirm trips through a user-friendly, preferably web-based platform.

Key requirements include real-time vehicle tracking and performance event management with no more than a 15-second refresh rate, dynamic manifest optimization for driver schedules, and automated or batch scheduling tools. The system should integrate with existing in-vehicle mobile tablets (K86 Android Tablets) or offer an alternative, cost-efficient mobile data terminal interface for drivers. Unified dispatching and vehicle location via CAD-AVL integration is also required, currently provided by Connexionz, LLC.

Enhanced reporting capabilities, schedule optimization suggestions, and 24/7 technical support by phone or email are expected. The selected solution must deliver automatic software upgrades and patch releases as part of the pricing model.
