The state of Maryland is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based mass emergency communications system. This solution must be delivered as a SaaS platform that operates as a unified safety and security system, offering multi-tier mass emergency notifications, direct targeted communications, and strategic response coordination tools. Additional required features include personal safety functions, wellness information delivery, and mobile-based tip and incident reporting.
The system should enable rapid dissemination of emergency alerts across a range of communication channels, ensure high reliability and redundancy, and be user-friendly for authorized personnel. It must integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure, comply with federal and state regulations, and offer scalability to address future growth and emerging threats. The scope of work covers implementation, configuration, integration, data migration from any existing systems, training for both administrators and end-users, as well as ongoing technical support, maintenance, and continuous upgrades. The initial contract period is for one year.
