The City in California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a cloud-based license plate recognition (LPR) system to support its parking enforcement operations. This project requires the provision of all necessary hardware, software, and services for the successful implementation and ongoing operation of a mobile LPR system.
The LPR system must be capable of monitoring parking time limits, permit statuses, active pay-by-plate sessions, pay-by-text transactions, and mobile payment activities in real time. It should efficiently manage various hotlists and databases, while simultaneously tracking compliance with all parking restrictions and payment types within each parking zone. The solution must include secure cloud-based hosting and robust support, with accessibility for all standard devices such as desktop computers, tablets, mobile phones, and other wireless devices via the Internet.
